Frequently asked questions
Which size of Pool is best for me?
As well as checking your ground floor space using the measurements on our pool information page, you may want to consider your water capacity and how you want to use the pool. Our mini pools are great for compact spaces, take around the equivalent of 2 bath tubs full of water and work well with one person in them.
Our regular pools hold around the equivalent of four bath tubs full of water and can accommodate two people getting in.
When should I book to have my pool delivered?
As a guide aim to have your pool delivered in the 37th week of pregnancy. If you are unsure just contact us with some basic information and we will help guide you.
What if my six week hire is ending and my baby has not yet arrived?
We have an initial hire period of six weeks as a guide. However, as midwives we know that babies can be unpredictable and that 85% of babies come after their 'due' date. Your hire will be extended at no extra cost if you are still waiting for your baby at the end of your hire period, so you can relax and give your baby and your body the time they need.
What if I hire but my plan changes and I don't get to use the pool?
Full payment is required either when booking or when your pool is delivered to you. However, if your plans change and you return your pool to us with the single use liner & hose intact in it's packaging then we will refund you £40 of your hire cost.
Will I need to buy any additional equipment to use my hire pool?
No. Our pools come to you with everything you will need to inflate, fill, use, empty & deflate them. This includes;
- an electric inflate/deflate pump,
- a single use liner& hose and tap connectors,
- an additional hose for trial runs
- an electric water removal pump,
- floor protection sheet and non slip mat,
- a sieve, mirror & pool thermometer for your midwives to use.
You just need to add the water!
